I had the first generation P22 years ago. I missed that old gun, so I wanted a replacement. I dig the tactical model.

The fiber optic front sight is a great addition. The threaded barrel is great. I had to lock tight the front sight after 200 rounds. Solid now.

The trigger is a bit heavier than I remembered. I’m sure it will get better with age.

Ammo tested was Federal golden bullets, Fiochi Range dynamics, and Aguila regular power. I believe I had one failure to chamber with the Fiocchi. I tried CCI suppressor, those failed to chamber the 2nd round. The mag springs may be tight/not quite enough oomph for a newish gun. Zero issues with Aguila super maximums (equivalent to CCI stingers). Stick with hot ammo and you should be fine.
